MASTERCANOPY Heavy Duty Weight Sandbags for Pop Up Canopy Tents

I was really impressed with these bags! They are absolutely HEAVY DUTY. We just got a gazebo for our back patio and these were perfect. Highly recommended

This review is based on just looking at the bags. They will be used in 2 weeks during a camping trip and I may update the review then.I wonder if they are heavy duty. The 1650D material may be heavy duty, but the bag’s construction doesn’t seem heavy duty to me. There are 2 vertical seams and then a seam around the bottom. They are single stitched and I hope that’s enough carrying them with 50#s of sand. I see stray or loose thread on a seam that I hope doesn’t mean it’ll pull out. The ho…ok-and-loop fastener at the top of the bag holds weakly. I wonder if they’ll hold when carrying a full bag of sand. I suppose that doesn’t matter when carrying, but I intend to bring the bags back from camp filled with sand and so would like the sand to remain in them when transporting horizontally.The handle straps do appear to be sewn strongly.

These canopy tent weights are well constructed. The seams are secure with plenty of seam allowance, so there is less chance for fraying at the seams. I do not see any fraying on any of the bags! The bottoms are flat, so they sit very well. The opening is very wide, so filling with sand is a breeze. The top opening is velcro, so if they are tipped during transport/storage, they may spill a little bit of sand, but the velcro is pretty heavy duty. I have not witnessed any spillage, but it is a pos…sibility, so I am mentioning it. We placed a small trash bag into the weight bag, and then filled it. We secured the top of the trash bag before closing the velcro top of the weight bag. It was easy, and we don't have to worry about any sand spilling out now. The velcro that attaches the weights to the canopy tent are a bit long, so I had to cut them to ensure the bags were attached securely. If I left them long, the bags were much to loose. I'm sure they left them long to accomodate a variety of pole sizes which makes a lot of sense. Cutting them was super easy, so no biggie. Overall, I am very pleased with theses weight bags, and I definitely recommend them.

Good product, easy to fill with sand and attach to legs of your awning. Worked well in high winds. I highly recommend this product.

Needed to weigh down a canopy during a craft show. These seemed like they would be easy to fill (they were) and sturdy (also true). I expected them to be well-made, as they claim to be able to hold 30 lbs in each set, and while I did not weigh them, the claim seems well founded. They are really well designed, and the stitching is neat and tight. There is a plastic liner to prevent any liquid leaks if using wet fill, and the handles are very strong. Filling them was easy, and the zipper mea…ns that reusing the fill for other things is easy and possible. They are easy to lift and move, but stay firmly in place on the canopy legs. The velcro strap is strong and effective. Absolutely pleased with the purchase and highly recommend these weights. I can't speak to longevity yet, but they are well made and seem like they will last as long as the canopy, and probably longer.

It’s inexpensive, sturdy and very easy to use. No reason not to purchase this product. If you need to anchor your tent, problem solved.
