Pretty easy to set up but need a few people to do it

OK, this unit is heavy and when I mean heavy, it is heavy. I was not here when delivered so I have no clue how they got it on my porch.The items are marked well with stickers. I would have preferred the item code to be stamped on the metal, but I know that increases cost.The directions were easy to follow.This is a two person set up. I did most of it myself and spend upwards of two hours. I did need another set of hands when putting the top part of the frame together. You will need a small step… ladder.The unit is made of the type of metal that scratches and bends easily so be careful.The kit includes a wrench but do yourself a favor and use a 10mm socket and socket wrench. You will be glad you did.Fit and finish is OK. Be advised that you should leave the bolts loose until you get the entire unit put together - including all the top cross bars. If you don't, you will find yourself pushing and pulling to get everything to let you me up. After everything is together, go back and tighten everything.For the money, I would have expected a better quality metal. There are scratches in the metal now that I need to find a way to cover up.Give yourself a lot of room to construct this.The top shade is nice and seems to be of a good quality and should be durable for some time.I wanted to give this a four star rating, but there were just too many little things that prevented me from doing so.This is better than a pop up canopy. I will be surprised, however, if it lasts more than two seasons.

Pretty pergola, ok quality. It wasn't hard to build, not the best quality but ok for the price. We put it in a corner of our backyard with two chairs and a table. It looks pretty, a nice spot to sit in the shade and enjoy the backyard.

Just what we wanted

This shade structure does provide shade if the sun is directly overhead. I find more times of the day there is no shade under the structure. Even with the poles and velcro the top does not stay in place, it continues to slip out of place. There were a lot of scratches on the finish but you can't see them now that it's put together.

This could be a great gazebo, unfortunately each pillar is a different size and one of the end caps don't even fit. Bad quality control. I was unable to set it up, so it went to the scrap yard.

We really like our canopy. Love the color of the canopy and the wood grain contrasting leg poles. So far it appears to be a quality product. It was fairly easy to assemble but you need to have at least 3 people during part of the assembly where you insert the top part of the poles. I think the order of assembly may need to be updated because it gets heavy to lift.

This is a fantastic little gazebo. Shades well and you can slide the fabric down on either end to block even more sun. Made of pretty lightweight materials and takes awhile to build but, so far so good.

I didn't know what to expect with the high price but shipped in one box with UPS. It turns out to be a lightweight Pergola at a premium price. The canopy itself is nice and the slide feature is great for when the sun moves. The framing itself is a bit flimsy and not too sturdy. At this price I would pass.

Loving this new pergola! While I was a bit disappointed to find that two of the four legs arrived crushed, we did manage to pop out the crushed pieces and still use it without any issues. It took two of us only a bit of time to get it together and my favorite aspect is that the sun shade can be moved easily where you need it to block the sun. It feels pretty solidly made and comes with small stakes to secure each corner to the ground. We get some crazy wind bursts here in southern Colorado but …have not had any issues with this pergola moving. It feels nicely secure. It blocks the sun well and it's made our backyard a place we can actually hang out in now! Very happy with it!
